Sarajevo Farm Goat Yoga
At Sarajevo Farm, goat yoga is more than just a passing trend or a yoga experience. Our goat yoga is about laughter, a calming environment, and connection with people, nature, and animals. Being in the farm setting with animals is known to improve mental and physical health. Our sweet Nigerian Dwarf goats will bring a smile to anyone's face. Goat yoga is a great way to step away from busy life into a peaceful farm environment.
What Is Goat Yoga?
So what is goat yoga? Goat yoga is a therapeutic way to spend time on a farm with animals. Typically, a yoga instructor will lead a normal yoga class with simple poses while goats roam around. Goats love people, and they are very playful. These funny animals may nuzzle you, nibble on your shoe laces or ponytail, jump on you while you're in low-to-the-ground positions, or take a nap next to you.

What should I wear?We recommend that you wear comfortable athletic clothes. We also recommend that you wear a tshirt rather than a tanktop to protect your skin from goat hooves.
What if it rains? While we normally do goat yoga outside, we also have a beautiful lakehouse overlooking our serene pond where we can do goat yoga. It porvides shelter in case of rain, so our classes are rain or shine.
Do I have to be good at yoga to attend this class? This class is for all levels of yoga. Our instructor offers modifications to every move, so it is perfect for anybody, regardless of whether they are beginners or advanced. Many of our guests have never practiced yoga. In reality, you will spend more time laughing at the goats than actually doing yoga.
Will goats climb on me?Our goats are trained to roam around in the area we do yoga. They may nuzzle you asking for attention, cuddle with you, nibble on your shirt, or even climb on you while you are in low-to-the-ground positions.
Should I bring my own yoga mat?Yes. Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one. We have a few extras in case you forget your mat or don't have one, but we have a very limited supply, so if possible please bring your own.
Are there restrooms?Yes. There is a bathroom in the barn where you will first park. There is also a porta potty down by the lakehouse where we do goat yoga.
